About the Role
The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President for Student Financial Services to lead a newly reorganized team that encompasses both financial aid and student accounts. The successful candidate will be a key member of the enrollment management leadership team, with a focus on strengthening the team and improving financial aid processes to support the growth of new student enrollment. This role requires an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to maintaining stable net tuition revenue and reducing the discount rate over a three to five-year period. The AVP will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, particularly in the areas of financial aid and data filing. Applicants for the Associate Vice President position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred) and at least 8 years' of progressive experience in financial aid and student financial services, including leadership responsibilities. The role demands a deep understanding of financial aid and state aid compliance, as well as extensive experience with federal student aid processing and reporting. Familiarity with student information systems, experience in designing internal controls, and a strong aptitude for resolving student account issues are also essential. The ideal candidate will be adept at working with data to support the company's enrollment goals and will be prepared to build and lead a team in a dynamic and supportive environment.
