Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 15-week assignment. The ideal candidate will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions that promote independence, functional recovery, and improved quality of life.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative rehabilitation environment while helping patients achieve meaningful outcomes in daily living and self-care activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to identify physical, cognitive, sensory, and functional limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide interventions designed to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and functional independence.
• Train patients in adaptive techniques and utilization of assistive devices.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals and home programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current BLS Certification preferred.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Previous rehabilitation, post-acute care, skilled nursing, or outpatient experience preferred.
