Job Description:

- Work Environment: A 25-bed critical access medical center complemented by rural health and urgent care services.
- Your Role:
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to patients or assigned groups of patients.
- Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other health disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking and professional discretion in your daily activities.
- Essential Functions:
- Collect and analyze patient data to assess health situations.
- Develop and implement care plans, ensuring safe and effective patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote a healing environment.
- Provide health education and support for patients and families.
- Participate in discharge planning for continuity of care.
- Delegate tasks effectively among healthcare team members.
- Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in an acute care facility.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Commitment to Safety: All associates must receive required vaccinations as part of employment.
