Housing Manager

Job Details Job Location: ALM-Huntsville AL Corps - Huntsville, AL 35810 Salary Range: $15.45 - $15.45 Hourly Job Category: Housing Schedule/Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with possibility of evenings/overnight shifts 40 hours per week with benefits Rate of pay: $15.45 per hour Key Responsibilities Ensures paperwork is completed and rules are followed by clients Ensures compliance with The Salvation Army policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal regulations Provides administrative support for social services and housing program Serves as lead worker to security personnel and participates in related work; monitors residents’ behavior and activity to ensure safety and compliance with house rules; maintains shelter in neat order Drives a Salvation Army vehicle for transporting clients to and from appointments, donation pickups, and other errands Supervises and participates in cleaning and maintenance of facilities, supplies, and equipment; inspects facility routinely to ensure compliance with established standards Supervises and participates in selection, purchasing, and preparation of food Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Ability to meet attendance requirements Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Limited physical effort required: walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.)
