The Georgia Swarm Professional Lacrosse Organization is an esteemed member of the National Lacrosse League and the leading box lacrosse team in the greater Atlanta region. Our front office is based in Duluth, GA, and our games take place at the Gas South Arena.

Expectations

This is a comprehensive and hands-on role. It provides excellent experience in sporting events, customer service, and retail marketing/merchandising in a true professional environment. Our work environment is fast-paced and energetic, so we're looking for someone with positivity, a great sense of urgency, who is a quick learner and can think quickly, but logically in key situations. This role provides exposure to the Atlanta sports business community to make connections and gain insights into a growing team in the sports industry in metro Atlanta. We pride ourselves on allowing a truly motivated individual to leave this role fully ready to launch their career.

• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 pounds at once
• Associates will be required to stand and move throughout their shift
• Assisting the retail brand ambassador team as needed

Responsibilities

• Excellent customer service and communication skills, including offering customers additional items to purchase
• Game times vary throughout the season (Dec. – June), and a flexible schedule is also a must
• Greeting customers and responding to questions about the merchandise, all while providing outstanding customer service
• Knowledge of operating registers
• Learning the loaded ticket functions and other promotional discounts for eligible customers
• Being proactive during your shift and taking ownership of your store's inventory and overall appearance
• Superior product knowledge of all brands and materials, while ensuring that all merchandise is correctly labeled and displayed
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customers' needs
• Assist the management team in restocking store inventories before and after games
• Receive and assist with checking in merchandise from distribution centers and cross-checking proper inventory paperwork
• Other duties, functions, and special projects and responsibilities as assigned by the manager
• Have reliable transportation to and from work for all home games
• Team members will be responsible for the accuracy and efficiency of checking and counting all inventory received
• Team members will be responsible for maintaining consistency of product storage within their assigned/allocated location(s)
• Responsible for overall cleanliness and workflow layout in all retail locations

Requirements

• Able to commit and work the entire 2026-2027 season, plus possible playoffs in April, May, and June.
• Able to work under pressure and in stressful situations promptly
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and attention to client satisfaction
• Strong professional leadership attitude
• Ability to communicate and work well with Management
• Ability to work individually (with little supervision), as well as part of a team
• Demonstrate independence and adaptability by executing tasks as needed. Acts on manager feedback constructively and maintains a respectful, professional demeanor with the team and customers

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

• Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes long hours. Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and stand on feet for long periods of time, and at times working in an extremely loud environment.
