Star Auto Group is a locally owned and operated automotive group built in West Texas and rooted here for over 50 years.
We run four franchise locations across Abilene and Big Spring: Star CDJR of Abilene, Star Hyundai of Abilene, Star CDJR of Big Spring, and Star Ford of Big Spring.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We hire attitude before experience. Sold cars before? Great. Sold roofing, real estate, insurance, or anything where trust is the product? We want to talk to you.
- Coachable, you listen, adjust, and get better
- Honest in every part of the deal

- Energetic and consistent, not just on good weeks
- Takes the process seriously: CRM, follow-up, product knowledge
- Community-rooted in West Texas or ready to be
- Treats every customer like the most important person on the lot
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus in this market
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
- Build genuine rapport with every customer who walks in
- Guide buyers through our lineup without pressure or manufactured urgency
- Present and demonstrate inventory, including test drives that close the deal
- Follow up with every prospect, including the ones who didn't buy today
- Log every contact and conversation in the CRM daily
- Review inventory reports and stay current on what's on the lot
- Maintain your CSI, gross average, and monthly unit count to store standards
- Stay current on product knowledge and complete all required OEM certifications
- Proactively mention our military discount to every active duty or veteran customer
- Represent Star Auto Group in the community with professionalism
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Proven sales background in any industry
- Valid Texas driver's license with a clean record
- Strong communicator in person and by phone
- Available to work Saturdays, which is when customers show up
- CRM experience, or the willingness to learn fast
- Prior automotive sales is a plus, not a requirement
- Existing local relationships in the Abilene or Big Spring area are a plus
WHAT YOU GET

- $70,000 to $90,000 first-year target for solid performers, no cap for top earners
