THE TEAM

The Culinary team is at the heart of delivering Rosewood Residences' exceptional dining experiences, combining creativity, precision, and passion to create memorable moments for every resident. Working within a refined residential culinary environment, the team is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of quality, presentation, and personalized service. The Culinary Chef de Partie operates as a senior execution professional within the kitchen team, partnering closely with the Culinary Head Chef and Culinary Sous Chef to deliver consistent, refined culinary experiences that reflect Rosewood's standard of excellence.

As Culinary Chef de Partie, you bring seasoned expertise and elevated technique to daily kitchen operations. You are a trusted station leader, responsible for the consistent execution of Rosewood's culinary core standards while actively supporting team development and mentoring less experienced colleagues. Your mastery of craft and your commitment to quality set the tone for the team around you.

  HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Execute assigned station responsibilities with a high degree of technical precision, consistency, and attention to presentation standards.
• Prepare, cook, and plate dishes in accordance with Rosewood recipe standards, portion specifications, and quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate with the Culinary Head Chef and Culinary Sous Chef on daily preparation priorities, mise en place planning, and menu execution.
• Provide active mentorship and guidance to Culinary Demi Chef and Culinary Steward team members, supporting their skill development and adherence to kitchen standards.
• Accommodate dietary restrictions, food allergies, and personalized resident requests with expertise and care.
• Support menu development conversations by contributing technical insight and seasonal awareness.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in compliance with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, labeling, and temperature control at all times.
• Monitor mise en place levels throughout service and communicate proactively to avoid service gaps.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and waste minimization strategies.
• Support special dining experiences, resident events, and private dining setups as directed.
• Contribute to a kitchen culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement aligned with Rosewood's values.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate is a technically accomplished culinarian with meaningful experience in luxury or upscale environments who brings both skill and a genuine commitment to elevating those around them. This role suits an individual who leads by example, takes pride in consistent execution, and is ready to grow into greater kitchen leadership responsibility.

• Minimum three years of culinary experience in a luxury, upscale, or fine-dining environment.
• Demonstrated station ownership and the ability to execute at a high level under service pressure.
• Culinary Arts degree or diploma preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
• Food Handler or Food Safety certification required; ServSafe certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of classical and contemporary culinary techniques and presentation standards.
• Experience with dietary accommodations, allergen-sensitive cooking, and wellness-focused cuisine.
• Reliable team contributor with the initiative to mentor and elevate colleagues.
