QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing, manual testing, and quality engineering practices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Selenium , Playwright , Appium , REST API testing , SQL , and CI/CD tools . This role involves designing, developing, and owning end-to-end manual and automated testing while ensuring high-quality software releases across web and mobile applications. Required Skills Playwright (TypeScript) REST API Testing Manual Testing SQL Appium (Mobile Automation) Experience 3–5 years of QA Automation experience Strong hands-on experience with Selenium , Playwright , and REST API Testing 2–3 years of Mobile Automation using Appium Experience in Web, Mobile, Functional, Regression, and End-to-End Testing Experience working in Agile environments Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and own end-to-end manual and automated tests for assigned releases. Create and maintain automation suites using Selenium (Java), Playwright (TypeScript), Appium, and REST API frameworks. Lead and coordinate testing activities for assigned modules while owning quality gates and exit criteria. Participate in Agile sprint planning, estimation, and risk discussions. Validate user stories during sprint execution to ensure early defect detection. Improve automation stability and optimize automation frameworks. Leverage AI-assisted testing solutions for smarter test execution. Execute Functional, Regression, and End-to-End testing. Mentor junior QA engineers and review automation code. Drive QE standards, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
