General Description: The QA Production Engineer/Technician is the primary representative for the Richards Quality Management System on the production floor. This position is the critical link between Engineering and Production.

Reports to: QE Manager

Responsibilities:

• Complete daily process and safety reviews of the production floor for both production shifts.
• Provide a constant presence on the shop floor as a direct communication channel between production and engineering.
• Support production floor quality initiatives focusing on process consistency and scrap reduction.
• Conduct First Article inspections and review with Engineering.
• Evaluate process flow to suggest improvements and changes to engineering.
• Support implementation for continuous improvements in Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
• Demonstrate the ability to determine root cause and provide technical feedback to engineering.

Minimum Educational Qualifications (If Applicable):

• Technical/Engineering degree or equivalent work experience required.

• Not necessary
