Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery / Mother Baby Float

Location

Lansing, MI

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, and OB Special Care units, floating between departments based on census needs
• Deliver antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum nursing care in accordance with AWHONN staffing model standards
• Support postpartum mothers and newborns within a Baby Friendly recognized unit environment
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in weekend scheduling, working up to 3 weekends per 4-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license required by contract start date (compact license not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Labor & Delivery
• BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• AWHONN certification (Intermediate or Advanced)
• NRP certification
• Prior travel nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC charting experience strongly preferred
• Antepartum nursing experience
• Experience in a facility with 100–200 births per month
