Details Acute care hospital setting within a Level I Trauma, teaching facility Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, with additional exposure to Interventional Radiology and Special Procedures 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Call requirement of approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks Uses Epic for charting Uses Philips equipment and ultrasound Float requirement within the site and across the health system as requested Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience required Active BLS, ACLS, and ARRT-R certifications required Oregon state license required if applicable, or proof of Oregon license application and fingerprinting Experience with Epic charting system required Experience in cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, and stent placement Scrub experience required, including maintaining sterile field Skills in equipment setup, access site prep, room circulating, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias One professional reference from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager required, preferably within the last year Additional Information Responsibilities include equipment setup, prepping access sites, room circulating, scrubbing to maintain a sterile field, and stocking supplies Must be able to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and respond appropriately Scrubs are provided for this role Free parking available in any unrestricted space Required to complete any assigned education within one week of assignment start Subject to low census mandatory cancellation policy, requiring cancellation 1.5 hours before shift start, with one shift per two-week pay period cancellable without cause or penalty Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment Former Legacy Health staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Local candidates are not accepted; candidates may not reside within 50 miles of any Legacy facility COVID vaccination required with no exemptions accepted American Traveler Job ID P-736874.
