Job Description

As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Pace, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support security-related operations through strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring patrol responsibilities by vehicle and/or on foot. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support vehicle and delivery traffic procedures in accordance with location policies.
• Communicate with supervisors, location contacts, and/or first responders as needed during routine operations or critical situations, while completing required reports and activity logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
