Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Troy, NC
ProCare Therapy
Job Description
Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding role shaping young minds and supporting student communication success. Two school-based opportunities await skilled Speech-Language Pathologists—one working with an elementary population (approx. 50 students), and the other serving a smaller, middle school caseload (approx. 20 students). Positions are located just minutes apart, with flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules depending on your preference. Elementary services require on-site support, while the middle school role offers a more compact schedule suitable for part-time professionals. There is also consideration for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant if appropriate supervision is provided.
Beginning in mid-August and running through early June, these contract roles promise the chance to make a direct impact in a supportive educational environment. Clinical Fellows are welcomed and encouraged to apply—you'll find mentorship and the opportunity to further develop your skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC-SLP or CFY considered)
- Experience in school-based settings; preference for minimum 2 years in schools
- Pediatric and educational speech therapy expertise
- Comfort working with primary (elementary) and related speech caseloads, or with middle school-aged students
- Willingness to provide onsite services and supervise SLPA if needed
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Complete speech-language evaluations, intervention, and documentation for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Develop and implement IEP goals and provide direct and consultative services
- Supervise and support SLPA, as applicable
This is an exceptional opportunity for dedicated SLPs and Clinical Fellows seeking to grow clinically while making a real difference. Take the next step in your career by applying today—help young learners build skills that last a lifetime!
