Job Description: Join a fast-paced InstaCare team where you’ll make a direct impact on patient care every shift. This role is open to both Limited Scope and Full Radiology Technologists, offering variety, autonomy, and strong team collaboration in a clinic setting. Posting Details Location: Utah Valley Instacare Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, 7 days/week (including weekends and most holidays) Schedule: 24 hours/week with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Schedule Expectation: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Why Join Us Sign-on bonus up to $3,000 for qualified applicants Variety in your day with both urgent and routine care Strong team environment with opportunities to build skills Open to Limited Scope Techs (starting pay begins at $19.87/hour, depending on qualifications) What You’ll Do Perform radiographic exams per protocol and ensure image quality Verify patient identity/orders and prepare patients for exams Provide patient education while ensuring comfort and safety Follow radiation safety, infection control, and clinical protocols Document procedures, patient information, and any issues Support team members and assist with training as needed Skills Image quality & anatomy knowledge Equipment operation Patient care & communication Teamwork & independent work Prioritization & workflow management Minimum Qualifications American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) certification Radiologic technologist license in state of practice Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist and perform the function of an MA in a clinic or InstaCare setting. Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years radiology experience IV Certification Physical Requirements Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies. Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations. Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc. Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items. Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.) May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time. For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.
