Sr Program Manager

Overview We are looking for a Program Manager II to support business objectives at SNC. The role involves total Program Integration Management of multiple complex projects, major systems, and subcontractors, with responsibility for customer relationship, cost, schedule, and technical planning, tracking, reporting, execution, and overall program performance. Projects typically exceed $20M in value and are of medium to high complexity, requiring high customer interaction and strong risk management. Responsibilities ● Lead program and project staff, defining requirements, estimating, negotiating, and awarding contracts from first client interaction. ● Manage business resources, coordinate with corporate entities, and build teams to meet program requirements. ● Identify, track, and resolve program issues and risks, ensuring mitigation and compliance with cost, schedule, and technical constraints. ● Conduct routine meetings, interface on program status, develop proposals, perform research, coordinate audits, and negotiate with stakeholders to align enterprise initiatives with budgetary constraints. ● Support the Program Director and Business Operations in the business area’s mission of delivering turnkey command/control, communications, ISR, and security solutions worldwide. Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Management, Engineering or related field. At least 8 years of progressive experience in project or program management. Minimum 3 years of leading medium‑scale projects (1–2years) with teams of 5+ cross‑functional members. Experience evaluating RFPs/quotations and preparing, reviewing, and submitting proposals. Demonstrated financial acumen and fiscal responsibility. Proficient in program integration management, resource development, stakeholder identification, and program lifecycle conflict resolution. Strong leadership, change management, mentoring, training, and performance review skills. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing international programs, including U.S. Export Controls (ITAR/EAR) and foreign certification authorities. Experience with aircraft modification programs. Background in Airborne ISR. Proficient in presenting or briefing executive leadership. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Advanced degree in Business, Management, Engineering or related field. Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, PMBOK, CMMI, Agile, Spiral, Earned Value Management, and corporate PM tools. Experience implementing and improving PM processes, tools, and documentation templates. Familiarity with Corporate and ISO 9001:2000 compliance. Security Clearance This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. citizenship is required. Compensation & Benefits Estimated Starting Salary Range: $150,009.28 – $206,262.76. Compensation varies based on skills, experience, and location. SNC offers annual incentive pay, a generous benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
