- Experience building, managing, and migrating WordPress-based websites, including migration best practices
- Ability to assess site functionality requirements (e.g., forms, workflows, search, events, integrations) and recommend appropriate solutions using comparable plugins or native features available within the View email address on click.appcast.io platform, including identifying alternatives when custom or unsupported plugins are in use.
- Working knowledge of WCAG guidelines and accessible web design standards, with the ability to identify and address accessibility issues during migrations DNS & Domain Configuration Fundamentals
- Understanding of basic DNS concepts and domain configuration, including setting up and validating site URLs (e.g., custom domains, subdomains) and coordinating DNS updates required for migrating sites to View email address on click.appcast.io.
- Prioritization & Planning Ability to prioritize and sequence website migrations based on factors such as: Site visibility and audience reach
- Serve as a liaison between the CampusPress vendor, Client Web Hosting team, and end users to coordinate migration activities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful outcomes
- Documentation & Reporting
- Document migration processes, customer communications, and site status to ensure transparency, continuity, and knowledge sharing across the team
