A&P Mechanic

#Job Duties / Functions

* You will be performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, minor repairs, troubleshooting, and line maintenance on a variety of mid-sized jets, turbo jets, and propeller-driven aircraft.
* You will be researching, interpreting, and applying technical data to the task at hand.
* You will be documenting maintenance activities to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
* You will be participating in required annual recurrent training.
* You will be supporting a team environment to maintain the highest level of airworthiness and operational efficiency.
* You will be assisting with aircraft movement, towing, and ground handling as required.

Requirements: 

#Education & Job Requirements

* Must have an FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic certification.
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Must have prior aircraft ground handling experience.
* Must have an acceptable driving record.
* Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

*Aircraft structures experience is a plus for this position.

#Reporting Relationship

* You will be reporting directly to the Director of Maintenance.

#Work Environment

* You will be working in both hangar and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.
* You may be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and moving machinery.

#Physical Demands

* You will be required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
* You will need to lift and carry up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally push or pull up to 100 pounds.
* You will communicate effectively with team members and leadership in person, by phone, and through radio communications.
* You may work in physically demanding conditions and in all types of weather.

#Travel

* Occasional travel may be required for this position.
