Veterinary Technician

Position Details Role: Veterinary Technician Status: Full-time Salary: Negotiable and based on experience Schedule: Monday through Friday Responsibilities Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas Gather patient histories and perform physical assessments Practice safe and effective feline-friendly handling and restraint techniques Educate clients regarding preventive care, treatments, and follow-up instructions Monitor surgical and anesthetic patients Perform dental prophylaxis procedures and obtain dental radiographs Obtain diagnostics including radiographs, blood samples, laboratory samples, and in-house laboratory testing Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and team members Support daily hospital operations while providing exceptional patient care Qualifications Previous Veterinary Technician experience required Strong technical skills and attention to detail Knowledge of feline preventive care and vaccination protocols Experience with anesthesia monitoring and dental procedures preferred Excellent communication and client education skills Reliability and professionalism in a fast-paced environment Critical thinking, curiosity, and a positive attitude Passion for feline medicine and patient advocacy Ability to work collaboratively while supporting both medical and client service teams Financial Benefits Flexible approach to compensation that reflects skill set and future performance 401(k) matching & Roth Retirement Savings Plan Flexible Spending Account (full-time only) 529 Savings Plan Tuition Support Program (full-time only) Referral bonus program Wellness Benefits Health insurance, including medical, dental, and vision (full-time only) Supplemental insurance, including accident, critical illness, hospital, short- and long-term disability, legal plan, and employee, spouse, and child-dependent life insurance (full-time only) Up to three weeks of full pay for the birth or adoption of a child (full-time employees only; available after one year of service).
