divh2VP Senior Underwriting Manager- ES Property/h2pZurich ES is currently looking for a VP, Senior Underwriting Manager for our ES Property team. This position will be responsible for developing, coaching, and managing a high-performing regional team of Property underwriting staff. Additional responsibilities include managing regional performance, including new business production, policy count retention, rate/tiering execution, and portfolio management actions relative to plan; managing regional wholesale broker relationships; managing underwriter referrals; and maintaining a small production portfolio to stay attuned with regional market changes and desk-level challenges. The VP, Senior Underwriting Manager will be expected to travel as necessary to support the needs of the team and to cultivate key broker relationships within the specified regions (25%). The position is a critical role in driving a diversified, dynamic and engaging team culture. This position also requires strong technical acumen in underwriting property risks in the ES segment, experience in overseeing and developing underwriting talent, the ability to manage complex processes, strong wholesale producer engagement and sales skills and a demonstrated ability of profitable portfolio management. This position will be based out of our Atlanta office. You will have the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis. You will partner with your manager to set a flexible work schedule that supports you, our customers, and our brokers and agents./ppVP Level Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree and 10 or more years of experience in the Underwriting, Market Facing, Broker, Carrier, or Risk Management area within the Commercial Insurance industry OR Bachelors Degree with 20 or more years of experience in Claims or Underwriting Support area within the Commercial Insurance industry AND Experience in ES Property 2 or more years of people management experience Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree Strong underwriting acumen and expertise in the ES Property space Wholesale broker relationships Strong planning and execution experience Strong team building and organizational skills CPCU Excellent communication skills Excellent skills in relationship building Strong presentation skills Strong knowledge of forms language and coverage intent Results oriented/ppYour pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. The proposed Salary range for this position is $200,000.00 - $285,000.00, with Global Specialities Incentive Plan eligibility set at 50%.
