Administers, oversees, and documents the administration of medications (e.g., topically, orally, intramuscularly, subcutaneously, and intravenously) as ordered by the healthcare practitioner and in accordance with hospital policy. Assesses patient to include physical, psychosocial, cultural, behavioral/emotional, developmental and spiritual needs. Gathers data relevant for patient care. Implements appropriate patient interventions and evaluates outcomes. Job Requirements Required Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, upon hire. Previous E.D. experience current within the last 2 years or. Critical care experience, current within the last 2 years. Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire. Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire (RQI). Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 60 Days of hire. Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 12 months of hire. Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, within 12 months of hire. Trauma Nurse Core Course, within 12 months of hire. Neonatal Resuscitation Program, within 12 months of hire. Preferred Bachelor of Nursing and one year of related work experience in an acute care setting, upon hire. Certified Emergency Nurse, upon hire.
