MANUFACTURING ENGINEER JOB SUMMARY TH Plastics, Inc., is a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position in our Mendon, Michigan molding division. JOB OVERVIEW The Manufacturing Engineer position develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards; recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls; coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products. BENEFITS Paid Time Off 401K 401K Matching Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Disability Insurance SCHEDULE 1st Shift Monday – Friday JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years’ experience 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Computer skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Regular on-site attendance JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Carries out process improvement, problem resolution, project management and employee training Improves manufacturing processes and methods of cost-reductions, quality improvement and efficiency Prepares and presents plans for the above and coordinate deployment including training of team members Assists Engineering Manager in improving system of production control, standard operating procedures, safety, quality control and training Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment Represents manufacturing on cross-functional teams Designs, develops and tests and/or sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods Performs product /process analysis and time studies for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency Controls experience – Keyence Vision Systems All other related duties as assigned #J-18808-Ljbffr
