Pay Grade: Job Description: Reporting to the Testing Manager, the Testing Coordinator will proctor exams to students with disabilities requiring accommodations. They will assist in the coordination of the Disability Services (DS) testing program for students with disabilities. This position is a key member of the Disability Services team. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE:

Each individual interaction between a student and a staff member is an opportunity to impact an individual student. By championing a culture of exceptional customer service, the Testing Coordinator can improve student satisfaction and contribute to increased student engagement, persistence, and overall success. ATTRIBUTES OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
Three priorities guide our work in the Division of Student Affairs. Foremost, we maintain a commitment to quality which is rooted in the belief that LSU students deserve our best effort. Every interaction we have with students should communicate care, relevance, polish, and attention to detail. We work to ensure every space, place, and staff-to-student interaction communicates a sense of home to students. Finally, we design programs, services, events, and experiences with everyone in mind . RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct Student Support 40% Advise students individually on how to receive determined accommodations for their exams as well as requirements set by faculty, providing frontline advocacy and support. Responsible for proctoring exams for students with disabilities requiring accommodations in a variety of formats including paper-based, computer-based, as well as an assortment of alternative formats depending upon the student's disabilities and accommodations. Program Support 40% Coordinates logistics for the Disability Services (DS) testing program for students with disabilities. Responsible for security of all examinations and related material entrusted to DS by professors/instructors to be proctored with accommodations and for the accurate processing of the Examination Request Forms for students who schedule to take Disability Services provided exams. Administrative Support 15% Responsible for day-to-day testing operations by providing administrative management including protection of confidential files, maintenance of the student information database, and attention to compliance with the ADA, as amended, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and related university policies and procedures. Embraces and executes the marginal gains approach for continuous improvement in the delivery of testing services every academic year, collecting and maintain statistics Other duties as assigned (5%) Other duties as assigned. This includes, but is not limited to, efforts that support broad divisional and institutional goals, such as at least 40 hours per year spent supporting divisional initiatives, including Move-in Day, Welcome Week, Family Weekend, and Career Expo.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
As with all LSU employees, this position, due to its title and/or responsibilities, has an obligation to assist students in obtaining necessary services. Should a student appear to need or seek assistance with emotional, behavioral, or mental health-related issues, they should be referred to the appropriate service within the Student Health Center. In situations where the student creates an impression that they are a danger to themselves or others, the advisor should immediately contact the Care Team, the Dean of Students, or the appropriate law enforcement agency. The employee, outside of the rights contained in FERPA, ADA, and Section 504, should create no impression of client or patient confidentiality.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma
- Experience providing services to individuals in a high pace environment.
