Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Visalia, CA

We are seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist to join our team on a locum basis. The role involves managing obstetric cases in a hospital setting with the following key responsibilities:

• Provide coverage for approximately 4,690 annual hospital deliveries.
• Manage an anticipated caseload of 49 unassigned patients annually based on the OBHG model.
• Collaborate within the current pseudo laborist program via a local group for unassigned patients.
• Participate in emergent GYN responsibilities.
• Ensure 24/7 in-house anesthesia coverage.
• Support Family Medicine residency programs rotating through OBED/L&D with OBHG involvement.
• Serve as backup to community providers for multiple emergencies.
• No outpatient or clinic responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in OB/GYN.
• Experience with Level III NICU care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume obstetric environment.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Hourly Pay Rate: $234.00
