Position Summary Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized pharmacy that processes and dispenses prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region. This role is for Full‑time 1st Shift Shipping and Receiving associates at the Central Fill Pharmacy in Litchfield Park, AZ. The starting pay is $18.00 per hour. First shift schedule is 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., 4 days per week for a total of 40 hours. Availability on Sundays is required. Key Responsibilities Maintain sorter operation by removing full totes and replenishing empty totes at sorter locations. Scan totes and locations with a hand‑held scanner; rearrange units in totes to ensure proper fill rates. Move, lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Manage product deliveries: prepare, review, and verify receiving documentation and reports; process, count, separate, and scan product. Operate computer software and basic applications to track and identify product. Unload product from trailers manually or with powered equipment; organize inventory and transfer to production stations; maintain records, logs, and forms (e.g., shipping manifests). Maintain quality, accuracy, and integrity of inventory: remove damaged or expired product, identify and resolve discrepancies, inform management of incorrect processes, and perform basic equipment maintenance. Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress and information; recommend improvement opportunities; adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback. Ensure accurate packing and shipping of pharmacy products: pack prescriptions; place the package on a conveyor to deliver to the sorter; pack temperature‑sensitive medication following drug specifications; include needed supplies; stock workstations; process and label shipments using approved carrier software and equipment; complete and verify paperwork for pickup and delivery. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum age 18. Preferred: 1 year experience in shipping and receiving. Preferred: 1 year experience in inventory control.
