RN PACU - Cath Lab (PRN)

JOB TITLE : RN - PACU (PRN)


GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES :


Responsible for assessing and preparing patients for Cardiac Cath, Cardiac Rhythm Management Implants, and IR procedures. Recovers, monitors and cares for post cardiac catheterization, post cardiac intervention, post peripheral angiography/intervention, post Cardiac Rhythm Management patients.


RECEIVES DIRECTION FROM : Receives direction from: Providers, Anesthesia providers, Nurse Manager, Cath Lab Manager/Director and Charge Nurse.


GIVES DIRECTION TO : LPN, C.N.A

EXPERIENCE :

• Pre-Post Cardiac Catheterization, preferred.
• Tele or PACU/ICU, preferred.
• Advanced critical thinking skills; self-motivated; adaptable to a fast-paced environment; time management, embraces change; innovative thinker focused on process, preferred.

EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATONS :

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current state of PA Registered Nurse License
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS and ACLS certifications required
