Description:

Strong automotive Interior Trim/Console experience is highly preferred.

Looking for a Mechanical Engineer with NX, or Catia experience viewing parts, cutting section, and measuring part details. Knowledge with engineering bill of materials, DVP&R, DFMEA, and root cause analysis preferred. Candidate must have good communication skill and experience with MS-Office Software. 5 years + automotive experience preferred.

This Role is more of Interior Trim Engineer

They would be working on the following;

• WD 28 MY - 2 new appliques being tooled now, parts due Jan '27

• WL & WD Current - warranty work.

• WL specifically has 2 studies;

• WL Valence Panel fit to the IP. Stellantis wants to shim console up 3mm or adjust side panel slots

• WL Hinge breaking. This week we're running 9 samples lateral & rear load test

• JT Bin to R7P - R7P wants to use this bin with a new lid and/or insert. New Handle or modify existing. They also has some other minor changes.

• WL Rear Console 28 Changes;

• Cup holder light ring deleted, new spacer

• Rear bin light, new cap

• Armrest leather is changing and requires validation

• T1T2 Underseat Bin - post launch this would transfer

• Lucid Console Carryover

• Quote BOMs

NX or CATIA viewing parts, section cuts, and measuring part details
Interior trim / console engineering experience
Engineering Bill of Materials (BOM)
DVP&R and DFMEA
Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving
Strong MS Office skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
5+ years of automotive engineering experience preferred
