Opportunity Highlights * Schedule: 8-hour, 10-hour, and 24-hour shifts available; Day shifts required; Weeknight on-call (pager) required; Weekend on-call (pager) required; Holiday shifts and call preferred; As-needed shifts preferred * Job Setting: 6 anesthesia rooms; MDs supervising CRNAs at a 1:4 ratio; MDs also performing their own cases; Charting via Epic * Types of Cases: General, Orthopedic, Endoscopy, Gynecology, Vascular, Plastics; No heads, hearts, or pediatric cases * Credentialing: Estimated privileging timeframe: 90 days Responsibilities * Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department * Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures * Pre-anesthesia assessment * Obtain and/or verify patient consent * Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient * Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia * Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition * Performance of clinical intervention as needed Minimum Requirements * Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certification required * Certifications: ECFMG and FLEX; Completion of approved residency in Anesthesia * Licensure: Currently licensed as a Physician in Pennsylvania; Candidates needing to obtain state licensure will not be considered About VISTA Staffing A ClearlyRated Best of Staffing Client and Talent 10-Year Diamond Award winner, VISTA has 30 years of experience optimizing continuity of care for hospitals, medical practices and government agencies across the US.
