Surgical Technologist Opportunity
Join our dynamic plastic reconstructive and cosmetic surgery center as a surgical technologist! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled surgical technologist to become an integral part of our vibrant team at a premier plastic surgery center. What you'll bring:
- Proven experience with a minimum of 2 years in a surgical specialty, particularly in plastic reconstructive or cosmetic surgery.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS and Cerner Surgery Tech Certification are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and operating room protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to function effectively under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Additional skills that help you stand out:
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary surgical teams.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient preparation.
Preferred education and experience:
- Certification as a surgical technologist.
- At least 2 years of experience in a specialized surgical setting, preferably in plastic or reconstructive procedures.
Other requirements:
- Availability to work a schedule from 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on a 13-week rotation.
- Must hold all required licensure and certification.
- Willingness to work in an environment equipped with overnight ERU capability.
- Reliable transportation and eligibility for travel or reimbursement programs as applicable.
