About this role
BIG BALLERS VR is the top sports game in the VR world, bringing together millions of players globally who compete, hangout, and progress in the most immersive sports experience out there.
As Full Stack Engineer, you will join a small, highly skilled team to develop scalable APIs that handle hundreds of millions of requests daily for Live Ops.
DLVR, the company behind BIG BALLERS VR, is VC-backed and experiencing exponential growth month over month.

What you'll do
- Lead backend engineering for BIG BALLERS VR (using Node, Postgres, Railway, and Cloudflare Workers).
- Implement critical API systems to support gameplay, core infrastructure, networking, streaming, and AI.
- Collaborate directly with the co-founders to create highly scalable, reliable, and useful systems.
- Optimize APIs for low latency and high bandwidth traffic, serving millions of users per day.
- Drive backend hiring and team growth as responsibilities increase.
- Enforce modern security practices and harden our backend.

Pay and benefits
Salary ranges will be narrowed during the interview process based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location. Additional benefits include equity, and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
$70,000 - $125,000 per year
