Riverside Doctors Surgical Center, an ambulatory surgical center in Williamsburg, VA, is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join their outpatient ASC team. This role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care for a diverse range of surgical cases. The center is part of Riverside Regional Medical Center, a comprehensive facility on the Virginia Peninsula. Practice Info * Outpatient ambulatory surgical center * Part of Riverside Regional Medical Center, a short-term acute care hospital with 300 beds * Case assignments include Ophthalmology, endo, ENT, ortho, GYN, and general Responsibilities * Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department * Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures * Pre-anesthesia assessment * Obtain and/or verify patient consent * Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient * Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia * Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition * Performance of clinical intervention as needed Compensation * Salary: $380,000 * Sign-On Bonus Incentives: $70,000 * Loan repayment or training assistance program funding options are available Benefits * Generous paid time off * Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance * Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts * 401(k) * Profit sharing * Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage * Leadership and professional development opportunities Requirements * M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine * ECFMG and FLEX * Completion of approved residency in anesthesia * Currently licensed as a physician
