PL Associate Prestige Underwriter

Our Personal Lines Underwriting team is currently seeking an Associate Prestige Underwriter also known as an Associate High Value Underwriter. This position is eligible for a fully remote work arrangement in the Eastern or Central time zone. This is a full time, exempt role. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Associate Prestige Underwriter supports our Executive Prestige Underwriter to help find solutions to meet the needs of our agents most important clients. This role will work directly with the Executive Prestige Underwriter on accounts with a home minimum Coverage A of $750,000. This includes all lines of business for this client. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Provide support to the Executive Prestige Underwriters, which includes but is not limited to documenting files, inspection reviews, renewal reviews, endorsement reviews, updating replacement cost estimates, and setting follow-ups.
• Work directly with the Executive Prestige Underwriters to manage assigned book of business, adhere to service level responsiveness, and maintain territory profitability.
• Demonstrate knowledge in the Prestige segment including underwriting acumen, product knowledge, financial position, distribution channels and service strategies.
• Gather data regarding an account and properly formulate a referral to the Executive Prestige Underwriter.
• Adhere to capacity and service level standards outlined by your manager.
• Build and demonstrate knowledge of underwriting systems, workflows, compliance rules, lines of business, and coverages to support underwriting functions in Personal Lines.
• Work within your granted underwriting authority level and escalate to management those items outside your underwriting authority
• Develop ability to build and maintain close working relationships with agents, underwriters, and peers.

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:

• 2+ years PL insurance experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast paced, detailed oriented environment
• Team player
