About the Role:

Hodges & Hodges DMD PA in Asheville, NC is looking for a friendly and organized Dental Front Desk/Scheduler to be the welcoming face of our practice! In this role, you'll play a vital part in keeping our office running smoothly while delivering an exceptional patient experience from the very first phone call to checkout.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments to optimize daily flow
• Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly
• Verify dental insurance benefits and process claims accurately
• Collect and post patient payments, co-pays, and balances
• Maintain and update accurate patient records in dental practice management software
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient transitions

Requirements:

• Prior dental front desk or medical receptionist experience preferred
• Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
• Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in basic computer skills and office software
• Dependable, punctual, and a collaborative team player
