Description
American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technologist with at least 1 year of OB/GYN and maternal fetal experience for a 13-week contract.
Details
- Maternal Fetal Medicine and High Risk OB work setting
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
- No floating required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Includes 2-4 weeks of unit orientation
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- Current BLS and ARDMS OB/GYN certification required
- NT certification preferred
- Maternal Fetal and OB/GYN experience required
- License required if applicable
- Skilled in fetal anatomical survey, fetal echo, nuchal translucency screen, amniotic fluid index, and umbilical cord doppler
- Experience with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester scanning
- Experience with transvaginal and vaginal ultrasound studies
- Experience with GE ultrasound equipment and PACS preferred
- Amniocentesis and vascular doppler studies experience preferred
- Experience following isolation precautions and PPE protocols preferred
Additional Information
- Perform a range of obstetric ultrasound exams including fetal anatomy, growth, and well-being assessments
- Work within a Maternal Fetal Medicine and High Risk OB team
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at this specific facility within the last 3 months
- Former Providence system employees (non-Swedish) are eligible after a 3-month separation period
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for this position
- RTO requests of 3 days or less are preferred for consideration
