AWP Compliance Technician II

AWP (Aerial Work Platform) Compliance Technician II Location: Peoria, AZ 85345 Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (overtime as needed) Pay: $22.35 – $27.95 /hr (based on experience). Paid weekly. Exceptional Perks Uniforms provided and cleaned for FREE Work boot allowance Rent any equipment for FREE FREE prescription safety glasses Unique vacation overtime averaging benefit that pays overtime while on vacation Responsibilities Perform routine, 90‑day, and annual inspections on aerial work platforms (boom lifts & scissor lifts) to ensure compliance with manufacturer and safety standards. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on aerial equipment in the shop and in the field. Conduct mechanical troubleshooting, adjustments, and repairs using appropriate tools, including torque wrenches. Document inspections, maintenance, and repairs accurately using web‑based systems and electronic tablets. Maintain equipment safety decals, service readiness, and a clean, organized work area; assist with equipment loading, delivery, and pickup as needed. Qualifications 1‑3 years of hands‑on experience as a mechanic or technician, preferably with construction or industrial equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and repair skills. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including climbing on equipment and lifting up to 50 lbs. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; minimum age of 21 and ability to maintain a DOT medical card. Basic computer skills, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills for customer and team interaction.
