We are an upbeat team looking for an individual who has a passion for helping others and wants to make a positive difference in their community.Why Join Us?Modern, kid-friendly facility designed for comfort and efficiencyCutting-edge technology combined with a compassionate care approachA supportive network that encourages growth into leadership rolesThe chance to make a meaningful impact on children's health and your own career journeySummary of Essential Job FunctionsWork chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory dutiesTake and process dental radiographs (x-rays)Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipmentTake impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulseHelp patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatmentProvide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment proceduresAt a GlanceCertifications Required: CDA or RDA.Additional Certifications: X-ray certification, Sealant polishing & Nitrous Certification is a plus.Experience: No previous experience required but must have Dental Assistant certificationJob Type: Full-timeCompensation and ScheduleSalary: Starting at $17.00 -$23.00 depending on certifications. Additional increases for experienceBonus Pay: up to $600 additional per monthSchedule: On-site.
