Financial ControllerA growing construction company based in Gwinnett seeks an experienced Financial Controller to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, financial reporting, job cost reporting, budgets, forecast preparation, as well as development and implementation of internal control policies and procedures.The Financial Controller will manage all accounting operations and ensure the financial health of the organization.ResponsibilitiesManage all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, Job Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Payroll Review and Revenue RecognitionSupervise staff of two in the above activitiesCoordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variancesManage month-end and year-end close processesPrepare and publish timely monthly financial statementsManage and forecast cash flowEnsure quality control over financial transactions and financial reportingServe as liaison with 3rd party tax accountant and auditorsManage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filingsProvide executive team with financial analysis, identify trends, and develop forecastsDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsQualifications5+ years of work experience as a Financial Controller with staff leadership10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experienceBachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related fieldThorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (GAAP)Demonstrated experience with creating and analyzing financial statementsDemonstrated experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close processCPA or CMA certification2+ years construction job cost accounting experience2+ years Sage 300 construction accounting software experienceRequired SkillsStrong leadership and management skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficient in financial software and Microsoft Office SuitePreferred SkillsExperience in the construction industryFamiliarity with tax regulations and compliancePay range and compensation packageCompetitive salary 125k-130kPlease send your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io for immediate consideration.
