Parts Delivery Driver

The Parts Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting Blue Bird parts to customers while managing documentation and customer service. Key Responsibilities: Deliver and pick up parts ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Assist with inventory management, tracking parts. Perform vehicle maintenance checks and ensure delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and safe to operate. Provide customer service, addressing questions and concerns. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pick-ups, invoices, and payments. Follow safety regulations and traffic laws while driving, including handling heavy parts safely. Assist other departments as needed, including helping with drop offs, pickups and parts distribution. Qualifications and Skills: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in delivery driving or automotive parts handling preferred. Ability to lift and carry heavy parts, often repetitively. Strong communication and organizational skills for interacting with customers and managing deliveries. Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus for understanding parts and assisting customers. Time management is critical to plan efficient delivery routes and meet deadlines. Attention to detail to ensure correct parts are delivered and documentation is accurate. Work Environment: Primarily on the road and in warehouse settings, with exposure to various weather conditions. This position affords medical, dental, and vision insurance.
