Cardiac Sonographer

Under the supervision and direction of a physician, the Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiographic procedures. These include 2D and M-Mode echocardiograms as well as stress echocardiograms. The Cardiac Sonographer is also responsible for hooking up, disconnecting, and downloading holter monitors. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Certification from ARDMS or CCI is mandatory. This role requires travel to perform testing on inpatients and outpatients. The position is within a busy outpatient cardiology practice that supports local communities.
