Position Summary As a Telecom Network Engineer at NetCarrier, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust telecom network infrastructures that support our voice and data services. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless connectivity, high availability, and optimal performance across our customer and internal networks. Key Responsibilities Network Implementation Customer Circuit ordering and follow-up Configuration and Support for customer network deployments Operations & Support Handle Tier 3 escalations for data-related issues and customer network configurations. Interface with third-party vendors for customer deployments Monitor network performance and troubleshoot latency, throughput, and reliability issues. On Call Escalations Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, or related field. or 2+ years of experience in telecom or network engineering. Experience in configuring routers, switches, and firewalls. PFSense / Adtran / Cisco / Ubiquiti Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Preferred Certifications and Experience Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) CompTIA Network+ Experience with Network monitoring software. Nagios, Grafana, etc. Basic Unix/Linux knowledge.
