Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,033 per week

Job Description TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in La Jolla, California. This is a travel position with 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days. Responsibilities Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures. Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures and report abnormal activity. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients. Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patients during all procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques for patient and operator exposure. Understand physiology and anatomy for accurate interpretation of examination requests. Operate intravenous and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist. BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) national certification; state‑specific licensing when required. Vascular Interventional certificate preferred. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Must be able to work 8‑hour shifts with a 13‑week assignment. Minimum requirements: BLS, ARRT (VI), and two years of experience. Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
