Echo & Vascular Sonographer

Location: Columbia, SC 29212
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 7:30 AM–11:30 AM
Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Local Candidates: Accepted
Traveler Candidates: Accepted
Weekend Requirement: No Weekends

Pay Rate:
Local: $65–$70/hr
Traveler: $65–$70/hr

Required Qualifications:

• Dual certification in Vascular and Echocardiography — Required
• RDCS certification — Required
• RVT certification — Required
• BLS certification — Required
• CCI certifications accepted: RCS + RVS or RDCS + RDCS-RVT
• Experience performing both vascular and cardiac/echo studies
• Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to work the required 40-hour schedule

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations in an outpatient cardiology setting
• Perform echocardiography and vascular ultrasound procedures
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and measurements according to established protocols
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment safely and effectively
• Review patient history and clinical information before examinations
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare professionals
• Follow department protocols, safety standards, and infection-control procedures
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care
