See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality:Position Overview:As an Instrumentation Technician on Mercury Marine's Engine Test Services team, you will be responsible for instrumentation application, repairs, and calibrations, as well as a variety of AC & low voltage DC electrical repairs and troubleshooting. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative and has a strong understanding of instrumentation and application, along with AC & DC electrical aptitude.At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.Essential Functions:Provide instrumentation selection based on various applicationsInstrumentation troubleshooting and repairsPerform calibrations and maintains the instrumentation calibration records for ISO and other regulatory requirementsUtilize various software systems to perform instrumentation calibrationsManage instrumentation asset management systemComplete minor electrical installs and repairs as well as control panel wiring, and layoutCreate and manage work orders using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)Assist in developing and documenting preventive maintenance and calibration proceduresEnsure all work complies with Mercury Marine's Safety & Regulatory standardsMaintain a customer-centric approach in all interactions and service deliveryDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.Required Qualifications:2 year technical school in a technical/electrical field OR equivalent experienceBasic knowledge and understanding of AC/DC circuits and wiringAbility to read technical literature, follow oral instructions, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and customersFamiliarity with entering accurate repair records into CMMSPreferred Qualifications:3+ years of experience with instrumentation application and calibrationState electrical licensedThe anticipated pay range for this position is $54,300 - $85,700 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus program. At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role.
