Desired Skills & Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
• Previous experience working as an OT in a school environment
• Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs), assessments, and documentation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students based on IEP goals and teacher referrals
• Conduct assessments and contribute to eligibility and placement decisions for students requiring OT services
• Document session notes, progress, and data efficiently and accurately
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing findings and recommendations with educational teams and families
• Provide consultation and support to teaching staff regarding sensory and motor needs in the classroom environment
