Unit Coordinator
The Center at Arrowhead
Overview The Center at Arrowhead is a skilled nursing facility that serves patients needing physical rehabilitation and/or complex nursing care. Our qualified, caring staff provides care in a comfortable setting to help patients achieve strength and functionality. The program emphasizes skilled-nursing care, family involvement, psychological care and discharge planning to support each patient’s transition to their highest functional level. Responsibilities Schedules and confirms patient appointments. Reviews patient information prior to appointment to determine patient needs. Verify with nursing staff if there are questions. Implements customer-service standards; resolves problems; completes and determines patient transportation system improvements. Informs family members of patient appointments upon request. Posts appointments daily for staff and patients at least one day prior to appointment. Be available to answer questions regarding the appointment. Enter orders for appointment and transportation and retrieves/sends diagnostic labs needed for appointment. Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complies with legal regulations.
