Enterprise Resilience and Protection (ERP) Division provides quality leadership, services and solutions to safeguard people and the environment, secure and protect company information and assets as well as enhance operational efficiency for the Corporation. The selected individual will be working as a Security Specialist. The Security Specialist will ensure successful security and safety programs are in place by implementing programs for protecting classified and unclassified sensitive information in accordance with corporate and governmental policies and directives. Performs specialized duties in one or more security disciplines.Responsibilities include:Supporting the Collateral, SCI, and SAP Security Programs at our contractor facility located at Colorado Springs, CO.Planning, coordinating, and supporting onsite meetings and conference events.Preparing visit clearance requests and Common Access Card (CAC) applications, and facilitating military installation access for visitors without military identification.Administering and ensuring compliance with company and government regulations, policies, and procedures for the protection of personnel, information, and assets.Supporting core security operations, including processing personnel security clearances, managing incoming and outgoing visit requests, producing employee, tenant, and visitor badges, conducting security indoctrinations and debriefings, and maintaining corporate and government security databases.Designing, implementing, and delivering security training, briefings, and education programs.Providing security support to assigned groups and additional office locations as required.Assisting the Cognizant Program Security Officer (CPSO) and Cognizant Security Staff Officer (CSSO) functions as needed.Minimum requirements for Security Specialist II:3 or more years of relevant SCI and SAP Security experience with High School Diploma.Current TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI and SAP accesses. U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance. Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph may be required.Working knowledge of badge management, visitor control, and facility protection protocols.Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills to produce professional training and awareness products, policy/procedure documents and to effectively communicate with all levels of management and customers (internal/external).Ability to build trust and foster open communications with peers and internal/external customers.Occasional after-hours alarm response is a requirement (Overtime eligible)In addition to the above, the minimum requirements for Security Specialist III include:5 or more years of relevant SCI and SAP Security experience with High School Diploma.It would be impressive if you had one or more of these:Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college.Current TS/SCI with adjudicated CI polygraph.Prior FSO or CSSO experienceWorking knowledge of JADE, DISS, e-QIP, NISS, SIMS, or C/CURE systemsExperience with the DoDM 5205.07, DoDM 5105.21, and the Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) series.We offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
