Nursing - CNA LTC

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with experience in Long‑Term Care (LTC) for an assignment in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role involves providing essential direct patient care to residents in a long‑term care facility, supporting their daily needs and overall well‑being. The ideal candidate will thrive in a compassionate environment, contributing to a high standard of resident care. You will be responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitoring their condition, and collaborating closely with the nursing team to ensure a safe and supportive living environment. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. Monitor and accurately document vital signs, intake/output, and report any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff promptly. Aid residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and proper body mechanics. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident environment, ensuring comfort and hygiene. Provide emotional and social support to residents, fostering a respectful and caring atmosphere. Assist with restorative care programs as directed by the nursing team. Required Qualifications Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. Minimum of 1–2 years of recent experience as a CNA in a Long‑Term Care (LTC) setting. Ability to work effectively in Honolulu, Hawaii. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs). Ability to accurately take and record vital signs. Strong observational skills to identify and report changes in resident condition. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to resident care. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of infection control practices and resident safety protocols. Basic computer skills for documentation. Shift Details Shift Type: Flexible, 8‑hour shifts. Days per Week: 5 days per week. Schedule: Rotating schedule (5x8), may include weekend rotations. Assignment Dates: June 27, 2026 - August 8, 2026. Contract Length: 6 weeks. Licensing Requirements Active and unrestricted Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Hawaii. #J-18808-Ljbffr
