Cook (Dietary Cook) - Part Time and Full Time Positions Available

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cook to join our team at Aberjona Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Winchester, MA. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious and nutritious meals for our residents. If you are passionate about food, have excellent cooking skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Review and prepare meals in accordance with planned menus

• Assist in food preparation for special meals, parties, etc.

• Maintain kitchen, food storage, and preparation areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition

• Ensure all food procedures and safety regulations are followed in accordance with established policies

• Assist in inventory and storing food supplies as necessary

• May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

• Serve Safe certification preferred

• Ability to comply with departmental safety policies and procedures

• Ability to perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements of the position
