Job Summary
Medical Surgical RN San Juan Regional Medical Center Farmington, New Mexico. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care within a busy surgical inpatient unit on a level III trauma center, serving adult patients from 18 to 100+ years old. The role requires coordinating post-operative care for diverse surgical cases, including ortho, neuro, abdominal surgeries, and medical/nephrology patients.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Must hold an RN license, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical or related settings.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional job clinical responsibilities include care for post-operative patients, managing NG tubes, chest tubes, Foley catheters, respiratory issues, diabetic patient care, sepsis management, alcohol withdrawal, rib fractures, altered mental status, and pain management.
• Float: Medical / Nephrology / Inpatient Rehab units may require float to Cardiology or Pediatrics to handle adult patients only.
