Piano Accompanist, Gayton

Location: Gayton Baptist Church, Richmond, VA Hours:6hours/week Compensation: Starting at $20/hr, commensurate with experience Key Responsibilities Provide keyboard accompaniment (piano) for the worship band and choir for weekly rehearsals and Sunday worship services Accompanying music groups for special services (e.g., Christmas Eve, Easter, etc.) Collaborating with the Worship Leaderand worship team to coordinate worship elements Being prepared to play a variety of musical styles, including traditional hymns, anthems, and contemporary worship songs Availability to play for weddings and funerals, at your discretion, with additional compensation provided Qualifications Proficiency on piano Strong sight-reading skills and experience accompanying choirs and congregational singing Familiarity with various church music styles (traditional and contemporary) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, volunteers, and the congregation A positive and encouraging team player who can help foster a harmonious musical environment A commitment to the vision and spiritual life of the congregation #J-18808-Ljbffr Dover Baptist
