The Electrical Engineer works within the facilities engineering department of a medical facility, planning, designing, constructing, and administering building projects to modify and sustain infrastructure. This role ensures projects meet building codes and regulatory requirements and integrate properly with existing systems.

Schedule: Full time.

Compensation: $65,000 to $123,000 per year, based on experience.

What You'll Do

This role reviews project design submissions and provides project guidance, and plans, scopes, budgets, schedules, and reports on facilities projects from start to finish. The Electrical Engineer directs and coordinates consultants, contractors, end users, and materials through all phases of a project, ensuring building electrical systems are designed, modified, and maintained in compliance with applicable codes and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 5 years of experience designing building electrical systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of applicable building codes and regulatory requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Experience with healthcare or medical facility infrastructure projects
